The Journey Begins

“The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He said in reference to the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive.” John 7:38-39

Jesus Christ is only our Lord and God when we lovingly live only for Him, in order that whatever He desires for His church becomes our one passion and desire, so that He can lovingly live through us. The Holy Spirit works this purpose out in the heart possessed by Christ for His glory.

After many, many, years of suffering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the Lord bought me again to the place of absolute surrender to His will. At that time, I had many questions about the “why” of suffering and disorder in the world and the Church. So, since 2010 I have been given understanding, to writing what I have gained from the Word of God by the tuition of the Spirit.

Now in this year of the Lord 2021, I came across this little book by John Calvin written in 1536 called: A little book on the Christian Life. In this little book I find Calvin wrote beautifully about the Christian life that many do not comprehend. He has done a far better job of it than I have attempted.
